Music was a large inspiration for this book both for the writing of it and during its creation. Here is a playlist of music made in or inspired by Iceland. http://spoti.fi/2a8YlCn Also pictured in the book but not interviewed for it are Erling Bang, Mr. Silla (Sigurlaug Gísladóttir), and Ben Frost.
I used an infrared camera conversion to create three of the shots in the book. I enlisted the help of digital colorist Peter Doyle who graded these and as usual, exceeded my imagination. They are on pages 116 (Litla Hraun), 123 (Eyrarbakki) and the spread on pages 198-199 (near Hellsheiði power station).
